Want to Make You Smile

Matthew5:14-15, " But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."

Right before I started this entry the Lord began dealing with me about my thoughts.  I don't know if you have ever experienced being thrown into a fight without a just cause, but that is how I felt this past week.  I think that is why God gave me the scripture He did on Sunday.  He knew what I would face this week regarding the secret enemies that plot out surprise attacks.  It is very hurtful when you are thrown into a situation that you did not start, have no part in but yet and still the problem is there.  And Must be dealt with.

When I started this entry I really had it in my heart to blast those that continuously speak out of ignorance.  Being brought up in my household my parents made it very clear to me that you should think before you speak.  I can recall having conversations with my grandmother about how "ladies" should act.  The do's and don'ts of being ladylike and although I did not like it at the time I appreciate all of those lessons now.

I kept thinking about this one particular individual who constantly has a problem controlling the things that come out of her mouth and it baffles me.  So I  began to look at the word of God to see what it says about this terrible condition.  At the end of my studying I realized that some people choose to be out of order and it is because of their pride.  The Bible says, "In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them."

So now instead of dealing harshly with this person the Lord is requiring me to pray even more for them.  I recognize that is contrary to our fleshly desires, my fleshly desires, but my spirit wants to line up so tough with God's that there is NO EXCUSE for God not to be happy with me.

I began to think about these life lessons that everyone face and what I will tell my children at that appointed time.  I am grateful for these experiences I have had with ignorance and other's choices that have affected my life.  My hope is that I am able to find the good in it to share a testimony to my children of how God will fight every battle.  That when the enemy comes in like a flood the Holy Gost will rise a standard against it.  That I can say without a shadow of doubt that "No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Prosper."

It is definitley true that all things work together for good, even those situations that are uncomfortable, hurtful and demeaning.  God Reigns and ultimately He has the last say in every situation. So I would encourage you, if you ever encounter ignorance...Pray for it, them, the issues and watch God move!   He is faithful to do what he has promised he would do.

As soon as I saw the first picture, I started smiling. Britt, you have to know that some people talk out of jealousy and it is what it is. Unfortunatley that is the nature of the beast. Anyone who knows you, will agree with me that they would stick up for the Women you are.

You carry yourself with Godly dignity and with that does come intergrity and virtuousness. My daughter's self esteem grew tremendously by being in your classroom this year. I don't take it lightly who God chose to teach her for most of the year. It showed. For all the haters out there, and that is what they are your fruit speaks for itself.

Don't let the selfishness of others allow you to loose track of what God has done and is doing in you. Continue to let him use you and fight the good fight of faith. Know that you have people praying with you and when it is all said and done you will have your many crowns. Love you Sis! Stay encouraged!

The Williams Family loves you guys. We can not wait to see how the wisdom God is giving you is translated to your children. We believe that God chose this task specifically for you and Shawn. I don't know many people that would go on such a journey and not lose faith.

God is good Rounds'. He continues to show his hand of favor in your household. I keep hearing Britt say, He doesn't have to do anything else, I will still praise Him for eternity. Keep that mindset and as trials arise praise yourself through them and watch God take care of everything!

Singing, "Here's my worship, take joy in it. Make this your dwelling place. I want to put a smile on your face, I present my heart to you. I present my life to you."

Britt, I always tell you so many people find strength in you and your testimony. Watching how God has healed, delivered, restored and is continuously faithful to you is amazind to me. Despite your rough patches you have a way of finding the good in every situation. You are not only making God smile but others who are watching smile as you give us hope to go a little bit further in this journey.

Continue to give God your all and don't worry about anyone else. It's not about them but it is all about the King of Kings!

Hey Britt. I just want to let you know that watching you and how you carry yourself after going through and coming out what you have gives me the courage to continue this fight and journey that God has placed me in.Sometimes when I am feeling exhausted or down God allows me to see you in a different light and it encourages me in my heart and allows me to fight and praise God one more day. You truly are a virtuous woman of God.From the way you carry yourself, to the way you and your husband interact, to how you relate to the children around you.No matter how much they try to throw darts and daggers you will always come out on top without saying a word because you allow God to guide your steps and it shows in your life. Your children are so blessed to have you and they are going to do great things.

I love you and may God continue to guide you through this process.

Hey Bratt. I have to be honest...when i heard that you were adopting children from Ethiopia I was a little confused. I wanted to ask you why Ethiopia and not here and what made you think of this....but i never said anything because I wanted to watch and see how things panned out.

This is my first time reading your blog and now I understand this is a God thing. The plans that God has for you is so great. I can remember when you were a little girl everyone kept saying there is something special about her.

No matter where we would go, who we would be with you always stuck out like a shining star. Now fast forward to over 15 years later I can see how God has chosen you out of the crowd for a specific mission.

Your ministry is great and where God has placed you is significant in your walk with Him. I have never been to TP but I have seen you grow since that day we bumped into each other and I asked what have you been up to and your response was.....I'm all about doing what God says.

Remember my confused look? I thought well what is that but your life speaks for itself. We always don't understand why you are so busy in ministry but keep doing what you are doing.

We love you. We are here for you. And like always you are so special to us and we are behind you 180% in watching God take you step by step in His plans for your life.
